Beats audio: Is it just a hype?
Beats audio:Is it just hype or just awesome audio gear.

Most of you who are reading this post know what beats audio is and their skyrocketing price (Atleast here in India). Don't know
what's beats audio?
, here you go. It's a audio equaliser, designed by Dr.Dre, which claims to reproduce all the faithful music as recorded in the studio.( Do not have money to experience beats audio, learn to install it on your current android phone.) But does it sound better than its competition, is it really worth the money you pay? Let's find out.Build quality:
It's solid, fits the ears properly and it's leather cushion makes hours of music play without any ear pain and make it a joy. It's manufactured by Monster. The plastic or polycarbonate body does feel premium with neat design, available it red, white and black colours. Although special editions have many colours to choose from. The wires are rated tangle free, but it does tangle a bit during some rough usage. The quality of the chords are excellent. After using the studio and solo hd version of beats, I must say the build quality is really good.
Sound quality:
It's difficult to judge whether it produces a quality music, as there is not perfect way to define what a good music is. If I ask 20 people "what's a perfect music?" then I may get 20 different answers. So it's a better bet to try beats with genre based comparisons.
Classical:
Classical song doesn't have too much bass. It's very difficult to feel any difference with beats headphones as compared to my stock Samsung earphones. So classical music doesn't feels groundbreaking, but good.
Rock/Pop:
Then I went on for some pop and rock based songs, here is the difference to be noticed. The bass is bumped up a bit and the mid is lowered slightly, giving you access to more instruments role in a song.
Rap/HipHop:
This is the best type of songs to hear with beats. The bass is high the vocal is awesome and yeah, beats really outperforms all its competition when it comes to hiphop.
Verdict:
Beats headphones are not for everyone. First of its way too costly. If you hear songs with classical genre or orchestral music, it better to get a Skullcandy or some cheaper priced gear. But if you are a diehard fan of wiz kalifa or Eminem, you must definitely try beats headphones. You'll be blown away by it awesomeness.
It's better say beats produces sound in the way Dr.Dre wants, rather than producing a studio quality sound.
So this part of the review is completely based on my experience and if you think otherwise just leave a comment.
