Google I/O developer conference, a two day event kicked off yesterday 9.30 PM IST. Sundar Pichai announced a new program called "Android One". Android One promises budget devices, a faster updates to the next version of android as like the Nexus and Google Play Edition Smartphones.  Under this program, the manufacturers can tie up with Google for direct software updates, while maintaining the reference design and specifications provided by Google.
